Hello All,
Halloween is just around the corner and I decided to throw a Doggy Party for my dog, Hercules, to celebrate his birthday. So welcome to Hercules’ fun, pumpkin patch, autumn-themed party! I have to say that getting ready for this party was a lot of work; but it was super fun. I have three beautiful pets, one dog and two cats. Hercules is a Puggle and he is my crazy little man. I decided to dress him up as a cowboy and he was not having any part of it. As soon as I got his outfit on, he was taking it off. I lost count of the numerous times the outfit was put on by me and taken off by him. Gizmo is my 4 month old kitten. He was a little blue super hero. Just like Hercules, Gizmo was having nothing to do with the whole Halloween costume thing. I should have realized that cats are less tolerant about getting dressed up, but I was hopeful that when Gizmo saw his pal Hercules looking so handsome that he would be OK with his outfit. WRONG!! I guess the only pet that stood her ground when it came to wearing costumes was my older cat, Nala, my absolute joy. She made it quite clear that she didn’t want to participate, so I let her be. I have to say that putting the outfits on Hercules and Gizmo was a pain and even though getting that perfect photo was hard, it was all worth it. As for cake, Hercules loves red velvet; so I let him go crazy eating his birthday cupcake. He had the best smile on his face once he was finished.Can you tell? I had to share this fun experience with all of you. I have included their Halloween outfits, plus some of the decorations that were used for the photo shoot.
