Can you guys believe that The Anniversary Sale is almost here?! It is one of the biggest events of the year and everyone looks forward to it. I know it hasn’t started yet; but I wanted to give ya’ll a “heads up” for what you will be expecting. As you all know, I work for Nordstrom so I am fortunate enough to know what will be happening for this event. The photos that I’m sharing are from last year Anniversary Sale!
Nordstrom has decided to change a few things this year when it comes to The Anniversary sale. That being said; I will be breaking down the dates for ya’ll and I will also give you guys some tips to prepare for the sale so you don’t miss out.
On the first day of the sale, only card holders are allowed to shop. Also, no one will have access to online shopping until July 12th.
July 9: Level 4 (Icons Only)
July 10-11: Level 4 & 3 (Icons and Ambassadors)
July 12-19: All levels with Nordstrom cards are allowed to shop in store and online. It is Nordstrom way to encourage their customers to come in to the store to see what is new. Besides we love seeing your happy faces!
July 19-August 4: Public Sale
How do I prepare for this sale so I don’t miss out on my favorite products?
I won’t lie. This sale is so huge that everything sells out fast. Here are 5 tips that can help you prepare for The Anniversary Sale.
1). Book an appointment! If you have a favorite person that you like to shop with; book it now. Every sales person at Nordstrom will know what products we will have in our store. They can have a room ready for you once you give them your list.
2).Get the Nordstrom card. If you aren’t a card ember, I highly suggest opening a card for this sale. You can apply for a Nordstrom card online HERE or in the store with any sales associate.
3). Make a list. This is very important. Make your list and give it to your personal shopper. Nordstrom will send a catalog to all card holders on June 26 so they can view all the Fall/Winter clothes. You can also get together with a sales associate and they can show you the catalog through the Nordstrom On app that each employee will have downloaded on their phone.
4). Buy and Return. This is very simple. I can’t begin to tell you how many people miss out on an item because they can’t decide whether or not to buy it; and when they finally decide to purchase it, it’s sold out. When in doubt; buy it! Just go home and try it on with different outfits. If it is not for you; you can always return it.
5). Check back often. Things often get returned; but the good items never do. Check everyday to see if your favorite item came back in stock. Also check with your favorite sales associate to see if your item is back in stock.
I hope that these dates and tips will help you to prepare for The Anniversary Sale! It is my favorite event to “shop till you drop” with my clients. Also guys, remember to have fun shopping the sale. I can’t wait to hear what you guys bought.
Thank you for stopping by!
