Hello All,
Last weekend my husband and I decided that we needed a break from Las Vegas heat and drove to Park City, Utah. It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it. The weather was fantastic, much cooler than we are used to,and we absolutely loved it. There were so much outdoor activities including hiking, mountain bike riding, fishing, and zip lining. We were amazed at the variety of things to do. We decided to go mountain bike riding and in the beginning were very excited to try this sport. However, we soon found out that we weren’t very prepared.
We found out that you have to be an experienced rider on rocks and curves. The whole time that I was riding down the mountain I was applying my brakes and hoping that I didn’t kill myself. It was a great experience, but I’m never doing it again!
A less dangerous activity that my husband and I enjoyed was going out to eat at the fantastic restaurants in the area. I enjoyed every place that we ate but my three favorites were as follows. The No Name Saloon had a very laid back atmosphere and was a lot of fun. Zoom, owned by Robert Redford, is a nice place both lunch or dinner. I had the Salmon salad and the warm peach crisp for dessert. Absolutely amazing!!! Another restaurant that you need to try if you are ever in Park City is the High West Distillery & Saloon. This place is Known for their whiskey and it also helps that their food is great. So if you are ever find yourself in Park City, Utah, check out these restaurant. You will be glad you did. As for the town itself, it is a cute place to visit with a lot of fun things to do and the friendliness of its residents just adds to its charm!
