So we’re back from our trip to Boston and I’m really excited to share with all of you some the amazing things that we did on our vacation. Every Summer we always go to the New England area where we hook up with family and friends. In fact, it has become sort of a tradition! This time we headed up to Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. This place was amazing. The house we stayed at was located on a small island in the lake and it was absolutely beautiful.
Besides boating on the lake, we spend a lot of time playing games on the island. I felt like I was back in Elementary school. It had a teether ball and a hammock; and I actually learned how to play Croquet for the first time. So for most of the day we spend our time playing, swimming, relaxing, and sightseeing on the boat.
At night we all chilled and decided to have a bonfire. It was was my first time cooking on an open fire and my first time trying s’mores. lol I’ve never had anything sooo good and now I’m hooked on s’mores. We only stayed for a day and then we were off to Portsmouth. This is one of my favorite places to go in NH. It is such a cute city with the best restaurants and bars. The night life is great and it is a place that I highly recommend. Our last day we had to grab some yummy lobster so we went to a seafood restaurant called Markey’s. Sitting on the deck overlooking the water was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation. Best time of our lives!
