I been on my fitness game for almost 16 weeks and let me tell you, it’s been a journey! When I started my fitness goals I knew that it wasn’t going to be easy. Everyday I woke up, I try to have a positive attitude.
In order for me to start to see results I knew I had to change my food habits and cut out alcohol. Eating healthy is the best way to see results. I have cut out diary, sweets, chips, and snacking at nights. My morning routine consists of eating 5 egg whites with tomato, onions, a veggie sausage and a cup of coffee. Now after getting some energy, I workout 5 to 6 days a week which includes 40 minutes of high intensity cardio and weight lifting. I try to burn as much fat while I workout by incorporating the stair master for 20 minutes on level 12. I then walk for two minutes really fast and then walk for one minute on level 7. This helps get my heart rate up so I can burn fat quicker. I also do the treadmill for 20 minutes on high incline walking without holding on.
Now I’m ready for the weights! I started to lift weights concentrating on combining muscle groups to work out my entire body. One day I might concentrate on my back, chest and arms and another day I might combine exercising my legs with shoulders.
When I started this fitness challenge I weighed 128 pounds and now I weigh 120. I’ve lost 8 pounds in total. My goal was to gain more muscle and drop body weight. I’m finally starting to see results!
I’m addicted to my fitness and I don’t like to miss my workouts. When you start to see results it becomes a addictive. I love the way my body is starting to change. If you follow me on Instagram you will see that I’m started to post videos on my instastories of what exercise I like to do.
Remember that if I can do this so can you! What is your fitness goal? Thank you for stopping by! I always enjoy reading your comments.
