Need a good photographer to take pictures for your blog, wedding or family portrait? Today I will share different ways to help find a photographer in your area. When I moved to Austin, Tx I had to find a really good photographer to take my photos for uptownfashhionbyjess.
The best way to start is to use Instagram by incorporating, #hashtags. This helped me out a lot. For example, after I typed in #austinphotographer so many photographers popped up and I had a variety to pick from. I then made sure to check out their work/gallery on their social media, before I decided to work with them.
After contacting them, I made sure I asked them as many questions as I could. For example, I usually like to ask them about what locations they suggest. I also ask them, what are the best time for lightning?
Another good way to find a good photographer is ask friends around you. This has been so helpful. Being a blogger in a new city can be a bit intimidating but using social media has help me a lot. I’m not a shy person, so if I’m traveling to a city I reach out to my other bloggers and ask if they have any recommendations. This usually helps a lot so I can book a photoshoot. As a rule of thumb, you should try to book a photographer a least a few months in advance before your event.
