Hey guys- hope you are having a wonderful week! You all know that I love eating healthy and working out.  I’m constantly trying to stay on a healthy diet but sometimes it’s hard when your always on the run.  Living in Austin Tx has definitely helped me stay on track especially since spring is here. One way I’ve consistently been getting in my daily vitamins is by drinking Salad Power in the morning.

The past three weeks I’ve been drinking Salad Power Juice every morning. What I love about this drink is that it has a mixture of veggies paired with a fruit. I’ve tried the veggie+mango, veggie +pineapple, veggie+apple and just veggie. I like them all but my favorite one is the veggie+pineapple. It’s just so delicious!

I usually have salad power juice for breakfast with my oatmeal and 5 egg whites. After having my juice, I have so much energy that I’m ready to hit the gym hard. I just love the natural energy boost it give me, while still being low on sugar. Salad Power is the only juice company that always puts more veggies than fruit in their juice. This company was started by two NYC college grads that wanted a juice that was low in sugar and calories. If you are looking for a good drink, I recommend trying Salad Power.

I’m sharing one of my favorite recipes that I whipped up a couple of days ago using salad power.  The recipe is below.

Ingredients:

-1.5  cups mix berries fruit (pineapple, ginger, kale)

-1/2 cup of oats

1/3 cup of Almonds

one whole bottle of salad power

– 1 cup of kale and spinach

-handful of ice (use more if your fruit is fresh)

-Optional: add chia seeds for a heathy fat

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender at high speed and mix until smooth.

Are you a green smoothie person? Coffee? What’s your daily fix? I want to know.
