Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year. I love getting together with family and friends. As you all know, I work for Nordstrom and it’s been six years since I have been back home. My goal is that next year I will be with my family and will help my aunt Vilma in the kitchen. My aunt really knows how to cook and I do miss that home cooking. This year, Dan and I are spending Thanksgiving together with his parents and our pets. I want to make our dinner table setting very special for both of us. All of the table settings that I picked are from Pinterest, which is one of my favorite places to browse for home ideas. I decided to go with a gold, brown and white theme to go with our vintage table. I have to admit that I was nervous that my theme was not going to work: but it did and my table looks amazing. One of our family traditions at Thanksgiving time is to go around the table and share something that we are thankful for.
